The Mission and Outreach committee is responsible for ensuring that the congregation doesn't just look to it's own needs. As Jesus calls and challenges each of us to reach out to others, whether they are friends or strangers, the Mission and Outreach committee calls and challenges a church to follow Jesus' commands. It is a group that also acts on what it preaches, organizing Mission events, outreach opportunies, and praying that God's will be done through their efforts.
